Toby, Hester, Ali and Ross form our talented team. With a wide variety of experience in both hairdressing and barbering, the team are well equipped to provide the latest styles, male grooming and haircuts.
Our barbers
TOBY
Toby is owner at Reidys Barber shop, with over 25 years of barbering experience in the local area. With a solid background behind him he keeps the ideas flowing while supporting his team. Toby has built a solid foundation at Reidys and has a passion for the business and local following. His love of music, art and design has created a unique style and a barber shop many would be proud of. His aim has been to create a home from home atmosphere so that his customers feel relaxed and comfortable in their surroundings. Toby loves to keep the tunes rolling in the shop whether it be chilled old school hip hop, funk and soul or more energetic acid house and drum n bass.
HESTER
Hester has been on board with Reidys since the word go. She made the move from hairdressing to barbering in 2014 and has no intention of going back. Passionate, dedicated and outgoing Hester loves the flow and variety of a day in the barber shop. Hester adds that extra level of creativity to the team. When not sporting her scissors and comb she can be found atop her mountain bike, cruising on her snowboard, scaling a rock wall at the local climbing wall or just chilling outside in the sunshine listening to some music.
ROSS
Ross started his career at Reidys in January 2018. He had decided on a change from education and wanted to pursuit a career in barbering. Starting as an apprentice he has trained at Reidys and East Surrey college, and is now full time with us on the shop floor. With a passion for cutting and crafting his skill, attention to detail is guaranteed as well as a good conversation. In his spare time Ross will often be watching Crystal Palace FC and tries to get to as many games as he can, the ever hopeful fan.
ALI
Alessandro comes from a family of Barbers so barbering is in his blood. Passionate & professional he excels at customer care. His attention to detail is second to none. With a love for barbering & conversation you’ll certainly be happy with the service that he provides. Ali loves music and is a DJ in his spare time. He’ll often hop onto the decks in the shop between bookings.
Tommy
Tommy is the resident barber shop dog. A typical dog at heart, ever on the lookout to chase a cat in the neighbourhood. He loves a bit of UK garage and will have his eyes on anything edible you bring into Reidys. He takes the warm spot on the sofa everytime!
